The Coach of Note supporting you on your road to success
After completing a six year tour of duty as an officer with The First Royal Tank Regiment, Lindsay decided that it was the financial world he wanted to conquer next.
He worked for various financial service companies before becoming a partner in St James’ Place Partnership, a wealth management company in the City of London in 2000. Not content with working for someone else, Lindsay decided to break out on his own and in 2002 set up Trafalgar Square FPC, an IFA regulated independent financial advice company focussing on the UK residential & investment property market, producing solution orientated advice to all investors. The company was consistently doubling its profits until 2008, when the credit crunch hit, but Lindsay pulled all his entrepreneurial skills out of the bag and has managed not only to keep going but also to branch out and set up an overseas mortgage company, Trafalgar Square Overseas Ltd; as well as a bridging company, Secure the Bridge Ltd, to back up his broker team.
In 2004 Lindsay was invited to become a key speaker for Whitney UK now called Tigrent, an international training academy for property investors, where he has gone from a 1 hour guest appearance to writing & co-hosting his own 3 day seminars on a regular basis. Still not content Lindsay, along with fellow Tigrent Mentors & Speakers, began to build a property, business & personal coaching programme, the Millionaire Action Plan or MAPs for short, which the directors personally designed to be an ongoing educational support system for entrepreneurs like themselves. 2007 saw Trafalgar Square Overseas invited to join the AIPP membership; a trade association set up to regulate overseas businesses, Lindsay soon joined the board and in 2009 was elected Chairman. He stood down from the chair after 2 years but remains an active member of the board.
Lindsay’s passion for helping people doesn’t stop there; he is currently taking on more and more personal coaching clients and he hopes that one day soon he will realise his dream and open the European School of Enlightenment. He is currently looking at some stunning properties in France to this end. In the meantime he chairs the Swaffield Primary School board of Governors despite his youngest son leaving the school 5 years ago. He has also designed a CPD programme currently being tested in Swaffield which if successful will go out to all the schools in the borough and maybe beyond.
Lindsay is a regular donator and supporter of the Make a Wish Foundation and in 2008 co-hosted the WIA Gala in their honour. Last year he swam a Marathon and raised in excess of £4,000 to pay for an entire wish himself. He isn’t slowing down either; this year he is doing lots of open-water swims & an abseil.
Spare time, whats that? When Lindsay does get an occasional moment off he likes nothing more than spending it with his untiringly supportive wife Chrissy and their 2 lovely children, enjoying a glass of Chablis with friends, supporting Wales in the Rugby or maybe writing a song on one of his 7 guitars, but mostly he likes to be kept busy helping others to realise their dreams.
